Wedding owl cards

Hello everyone!

Today I want to share with you a couple of wedding cards that I recently made. I started up with a craft card base. Then I covered the card front with a lovely flower pattern. The combination of the craft card base with the floral pattern instantly gave a romantic and rustic touch to the card that I find amazing especially for wedding cards!

Then I stamped an owl a couple of time on some craft cardstock again and I stared colouring them with my coloured pencils. Colouring on craft cardstock looks very beautiful! The colours get a distressed look that I really love! Then I also stamped, coloured and fussy cut a big heart. I’ve put everything on foam adhesive to make them stand out a bit against the busy background. And that’s the focal point of the card.

For the sentiment I die-cut from white craft-foam the “Congratulations” and I’ve put against a stripe of craft cardstock. Otherwise it would get lost in the background. I’ve put everything together and the cards were ready! What do you think! I really like how romantic they turned out!

Which one do you like better? My favourite is the one with the white floral background. See you all in a couple of days with our next post! Until then…happy crafting!
