A simple and clean Halloween card
Hey everyone!
Today I want to share with you a card that I recently made using the “Witch Way Is The Candy ” stamp set by MFT Stamps! The stamps set is so adorable and really makes it a piece of cake to create a Halloween themed card! All I had to do was to stamp and combine some of the images. A rule that I like to follow in order to make clean looking cards is to use one large image as a focal point and then several smaller ones to embellish it.
So the focal point for one is this adorable witch. To color it I used a classic Halloween combo : orange, purple and green! I used my Inktense Colored Pencils to achieve a vibrant result! I love these pencils. I only have a set of 12 but I really think it’s worth the investment to get some more! Then I stamped and fussy cut three pumpkins and I heat embossed the sentiment.
Since my images are so colorful I decided to go for a monochromatic background. This way I made them stand out even more! Of course I popped them onto foam adhesive because i love having dimension on my cards! And voila….my fisrt Halloween card of the season is ready! What do you think?
