A customized lavender wedding card
Hello everyone! August is slowly coming to end!It was a beautiful month full of beautiful memories and well spent with good friends! We are back from our summer holidays! Full of new ideas and super ready for the next months! It’s really amazing what a few weeks by the sea can do to your motivation and creativity!
So today I am back with a customized wedding card! Summer may be coming to an end but wedding season is still going on! I was asked to make a congratulations card for a lavender themed wedding! What an inspiring idea! As soon as I got home from holidays I went to my stash to find anything lavender related! First I found all my lilac papers and choose the ones that I liked the best. Then I looked through my stamps and dies but I had nothing lavender related. So I decided to draw lavender myself! I googled “watercoloured lavender” to get some inspiration and then I started practicing! I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers in order to achieve that watercolour effect! It only took a few tries to get the result that I wished for! Then I added some highlights using my white gel pen. I fussy cut my lavender and the main element of my card was ready.
All that was left to do was to combine them with a couple of pattern papers and a “congratulations” sentiment. I decided to heat emboss it with white embossing powder to bring everything together. And that was it! It was so simple to create a card from scratch and I really enjoyed making it!
